Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) (Mechatronics)

Location: United Kingdom, remote, with the role focused on the greater Manchester area and regular travel to customer sites.

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair hirify.global systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot product assembly technologies and perform fault analysis in customer processes.
• Conduct customer tests, application and system testing, staging activities, and process parameter determination.
• Train customers in the use of hirify.global systems and applications in English and the local language.
• Prepare administrative and technical reports and advise on market developments, competitor activity, and hardware needs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Aftermarket, Customer Project Engineers, and application technology teams to support customer solutions and service sales.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in mechatronics or an equivalent qualification, with ideally 5–10+ years of practical field service engineering or technician experience.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including the ability to interpret technical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with installation, servicing, maintenance, instrumentation, tools, and technical equipment.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP, with the ability to create technical and administrative reports.
• Fluent English is required.
• Willingness to travel and a valid car driver’s license are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PLC systems and interfaces.
• Experience with customer testing, application technology, or industrial equipment training.
