Field Service Specialist (Panel Shop Automation)

Location: Hybrid work at the Anoka, Minnesota location with 50% or more travel to customer sites, primarily in North America and occasionally internationally.

Compensation range: $62,900–$116,900 annually, with potential eligibility for additional annual incentives.

What you will do

• Provide technical application assistance for Panel Shop Automation equipment and software.
• Install machines and perform planned maintenance at customer sites.
• Handle technical support calls from current and prospective customers.
• Train customers on new product operation at hirify.global facilities and customer locations.
• Coordinate installations, training, emergency break/fix schedules, and customer support with technical support, sales, plant, and international business teams.
• Manage spare-parts ihirify.globalory in Anoka and facilitate order fulfillment.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work hybrid at the Anoka, Minnesota location and travel 50% or more, including some international travel.
• Ideally 5+ years of experience in technical and customer-facing roles.
• Knowledge of industrial distribution channels, including distributors, direct sales, and manufacturers’ representatives.
• Ability to identify root causes and develop timely, professional recommendations for resolution.
• Strong analytical, computer, planning, prioritization, and workload-management skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial manufacturing and exposure to automation or panel shops.
• Experience with the mechanical and electrical functions of automation equipment.
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.
