Field Service Engineer (North West, UK)

Location: Remote from the UK, ideally based in North West England (Manchester), with regular travel across the North of the UK, average travel times of 1–2 hours each way, and occasional overnight stays.

What you will do

• Install and commission hirify.global equipment at customer sites.
• Perform maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed equipment.
• Manage service cases from diagnosis through resolution.
• Support product demonstrations and trials with the sales team.
• Build customer relationships and identify opportunities to improve production performance and service needs.

Requirements

• Experience in field service or technical service within an electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering environment.
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills in industrial or production settings.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the assigned UK territory.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple service tasks and customer requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial coding and marking technologies such as CIJ, laser coding, or labeling systems.
