Manufacturing Automation & CAM Expert (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Implement, standardize, and continuously develop the CAM landscape across international production sites.
• Plan and coordinate international CAM rollouts with local production and engineering teams, providing functional leadership.
• Develop and optimize NC programming methods, CAM standards, and manufacturing best practices.
• Develop, customize, and validate post-processors while integrating new machine tools and manufacturing technologies.
• Develop the Digital Thread and end-to-end digital processes connecting engineering, CAM, manufacturing systems, and production.
• Evaluate and implement CAM, CNC, automation, and artificial intelligence technologies in digitalization and transformation projects.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, a PhD, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in CAD/CAM, NC programming, and CNC technologies.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary project teams.
• Strong interest in automation, digital manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies.
• Strong German and English language skills required.
• Willingness to travel, structured working style, initiative, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of TopSolid CAD/CAM and post-processor development.
• Knowledge of NC code-based simulation tools such as Vericut.
