What you will do
- Develop the overall mechanical concept, including installation space and structural design.
- Define mechanical interfaces and integration concepts for drives, electronics, and peripherals.
- Evaluate material, manufacturing, and joining concepts to ensure cost-efficiency and scalability.
- Lead concept and design reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate closely with simulation, industrialization, and procurement departments.
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering, precision engineering, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in conceiving complex mechatronic assemblies.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Siemens NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
- Solid understanding of tolerance management, lightweight design, and design for manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to make decisive technical choices.
