Location: On-site in Metzingen / Riederich, Germany

What you will do

Design load-bearing structural parts optimized for high-volume production.
Apply manufacturing techniques including casting, die-casting, sheet metal, plastic, and additive manufacturing.
Iterate designs based on FEM analysis to ensure optimal stiffness, strength, and weight.
Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and bills of materials.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding feasibility, tooling concepts, and assembly requirements.

Requirements

Degree or technician qualification in mechanical engineering or a comparable field.
Proven experience in designing structural or housing parts.
Knowledge of casting, sheet metal, or plastic part design processes.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software and tolerance analysis.
Conscientious and solution-oriented approach to engineering challenges.
