System Engineer 2 (MI)

What you will do

• Analyze user requirements, CONOPS documents, and high-level system architectures to develop formal system requirements specifications.
• Lead systems engineering design, development, integration, and implementation planning.
• Design and maintain enterprise system architectures for on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop architecture, system design, engineering management, integration, and test documentation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate alternative technical approaches, and guide requirements definition.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, program and project managers, technical teams, senior executives, and other program personnel.

Requirements

• United States citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance are required; active TS/SCI with an agency-appropriate polygraph is expected.
• Fourteen years of systems engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline; five additional years of systems engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Hands-on experience with systems engineering, IT architecture, enterprise data centers, cloud environments, network infrastructure, and end-user computing solutions.
• Expertise authoring CONOPS, SRS, SDDs, SEMPs, and test plans, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• INCOSE CSEP or ESEP certification.
• AWS or Azure Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification.
• CCIE, CCNP, or CISSP certification.
