Commercial Construction Project Executive - Mission Critical

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States

Base salary: $163,350–$217,800 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage small- and large-scale projects from discovery and design through development, implementation, and closeout.
• Maintain safety, quality control, scheduling, and compliance with company policies and project processes.
• Negotiate contract terms, time extensions, and scope-related issues with clients and subcontractors.
• Lead preconstruction and RFP package efforts with the Preconstruction Department and other company resources.
• Assign, evaluate, coach, and support project and field personnel while delegating responsibilities as needed.
• Acquire new work, maintain client relationships, and foster positive partnerships with subcontractors and vendors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Prior healthcare construction project experience is required.
• Previous project management experience with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with project software, including Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, Bluebeam, and JD Edwards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and update construction drawings and organize people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines.
• A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
