Data Center Project Manager (Mission Critical)

Location: Columbus or Cleveland, Ohio, or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. Full-time role with some travel to job sites or other hirify.global offices.

Expected annual compensation: $114,730–$188,485.

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams and data center projects from conception through construction administration.
• Coordinate clients, architects, engineers, contractors, marketing staff, and other project stakeholders.
• Manage project quality, schedule, scope, budget, forecasting, invoicing, and contracts.
• Prepare fee proposals, scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and interview presentations.
• Build client relationships, support marketing and business development, and help secure new work.
• Mentor project managers and coordinate staff workload, recruiting, retention, and professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 7 years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in site programming, project planning, design, construction, or commissioning.
• Previous data center or mission-critical experience at an architecture, engineering, or engineering consulting firm is desired.
• Strong project management, organizational, written, verbal communication, and multitasking skills.
• Working knowledge of Uptime Topology standards, ASHRAE TC 9.9, ISO standards for PUE/CUE/WUE, and document management software such as Newforma Project Center or ProjectWise.

• Current knowledge of trends and standards in the mission-critical industry.
