Project Manager - Mission Critical (Construction)

Location: San Francisco, CA; full-time onsite role

Salary: $113,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage construction projects across budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, and closeout.
• Prepare budgets, lump-sum bids, scope reviews, and trade partner bid leveling.
• Monitor project financials, billing, forecasting, receivables, general conditions, labor, and change pricing.
• Coordinate internal teams, trade partners, design teams, clients, and superintendents, including frequent site visits.
• Manage subcontracts, insurance certificates, document control, risk reduction, punch lists, and project closeout.
• Support business development, client retention, industry events, and mentoring of interns, project engineers, and assistant project managers.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of construction project management experience, including two to three years in commercial construction.
• Prior experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Proven experience in estimating, documentation, owner and architect relations, cost monitoring, problem-solving, and project wrap-up.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, financial reporting, drawing review, and computer skills.
• Exceptional written, verbal, communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering is preferred; equivalent strong experience may be considered.
