Project Executive (Mission Critical)

Location: Vienna, Virginia, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $205,000–$297,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of construction projects.
• Own project budgeting, bidding, cost control, change management, forecasting, billing, receivables, and financial reporting.
• Lead internal and external project teams throughout the project life cycle and participate in staffing decisions.
• Manage client relationships and national accounts while supporting business development, RFP responses, pitches, and new bid opportunities.
• Coach and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, address complex project issues, and support performance management.
• Develop and deliver training on construction best practices, technical skills, and human skills.

Requirements

• 13+ years of construction project management experience, including at least 5 years in commercial construction.
• Experience managing field operations, scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor coordination.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, lump-sum bid preparation, cost control, and drawing review skills.
• Solid construction trades background and technical knowledge.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, time-management, and prioritization skills, including the ability to work with high-end clients.
• Resume, references, and a project list are required. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
