Associate Merchant - Hunting (Retail)

Location: Onsite at the Hula Building Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $70,000–$130,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Support supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned hunting categories.
• Assist with supplier issue resolution and new supplier setup across stores and online channels.
• Maintain accurate product page content according to taxonomy guidelines.
• Support category performance tracking, budgeting, forecasting, sales analysis, and modular assortment execution.
• Coordinate promotional activities and customer communication and education programs with cross-functional teams.
• Build relationships with suppliers, vendors, merchants, and internal partners while using data insights to support decisions.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or a related area.
• Experience with vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations in retail or e-commerce.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data analysis or visualization tools.
• Experience with product assortment, pricing, promotional activities, purchase orders, and item setup.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and sales analysis.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with third-party supplier negotiations, site merchandising, planning, or inventory.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Merchandising.
