IT Project Manager - Agile (Salesforce)

Location: Rolling Meadows, Illinois, United States. Onsite role with physical workplace duties. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Salary: $84,000–$125,000 annually.

What you will do

• Plan and facilitate Scrum ceremonies for Business Intelligence and Salesforce deployment teams.
• Maintain sprint backlogs, burndown charts, velocity metrics, dashboards, and delivery reports using agile tooling.
• Identify and resolve impediments, risks, and blockers affecting sprint and release commitments.
• Coordinate BI roadmaps, data pipeline dependencies, Salesforce integrations, ERP touchpoints, infrastructure availability, and deployment windows.
• Coach Product Owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams on Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, BDD, and self-organizing team practices.
• Support release planning, roadmap sequencing, governance, documentation, and continuous improvement across IT projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager on software development or enterprise systems projects.
• CSM or PSM I certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
• Experience facilitating delivery for data and analytics projects and/or Salesforce implementation or deployment projects.
• Hands-on proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar agile project management tools, including dashboards and reporting frameworks.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills across technical and business audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing or transportation/logistics environments.
• Familiarity with Salesforce release management, sandboxes, change sets, and CI/CD for Salesforce.
• Knowledge of BI platforms, Power BI, Tableau, ETL processes, and data pipeline concepts.
• Exposure to ERP delivery cycles and scaled-agile certification such as SAFe Scrum Master.
• Experience establishing agile teams, Centers of Excellence, or cross-team agile councils.
