Project Manager (Embedded Software)

Salary: $82,900–$134,300 per year across U.S. locations.

What you will do

• Plan, lead, and execute medium- to large-scale embedded software development projects from initiation through closeout.
• Manage project scope, costs, timelines, integrated schedules, earned value management, materials, and risks.
• Coordinate internal and external resources, engineering communication, priorities, delegation, and change management.
• Create project documentation covering requirements, risks, issues, status reporting, communications, and quality assurance.
• Present project status and issues to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, ISO, IATF 16949, FAR/DFARS, and applicable regulations while supporting audits and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of related work experience.
• Experience managing software development projects involving embedded controllers and/or display development.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, ECNs, and phase-gate processes.
• Proficiency with project and productivity tools including Smartsheet, Primavera P6, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.
• Experience with Excel reporting, including pivot tables, macros, and VBA, plus Power BI or Tableau.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Government or defense contracting experience and familiarity with FAR/DFARS.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or CMMI frameworks.
