Project Manager (AWS)

Location: Remote within the United States; preference given to candidates in Milwaukee or Raleigh, North Carolina. Occasional travel for company meetings and events may be required.

Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage strategic, company-wide technical projects from planning through completion, including AWS migration, cloud, and infrastructure initiatives.
• Coordinate R&D, Customer Success, Operations, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Serve as Scrum manager by facilitating sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and related Agile ceremonies.
• Coordinate production releases, including ticket prioritization, tracking, and deployment activities.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, roadmaps, documentation, metrics, budgets, and executive status reports.
• Develop communication plans, identify risks, resolve blockers, and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of project management experience in software development or a technology environment.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders in complex project environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint ceremony facilitation.
• Familiarity with project management and tracking tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Scrum Master certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and project reporting platforms.
• Experience with strategic planning, stakeholder communication, risk mitigation, budget management, and resource management.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and technical concepts.
