Service Technician - Remote (Sentry) (Industrial Automation)

Location: Remote within the United States; position listed as US TX Remote

Salary: $32.00–$40.00 per hour

hirify.global is a growing packaging and automation company whose Sentry business provides conveyor equipment and container-handling machinery.

What you will do

• Provide field service and customer support at customer facilities.
• Install, repair, maintain, and test conveyor and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose technical errors and determine appropriate solutions.
• Connect to PLCs, navigate programming code, and troubleshoot wiring, I/O, and conveyor tachometers.
• Implement PLC interfaces and correct PLC, HMI, and servo code as directed by the Controls Engineer.
• Generate required changes in HMI programs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience servicing conveyors and machinery.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and servo systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD panel layouts.
• Experience with industrial automation and controls systems.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, customer service, and customer interface skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
