Lead Data and Analytics Developer (Customer Analytics)

Location: Columbus, Ohio; hybrid with 3 days on location. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future. Relocation assistance is provided.

Salary: $113,500–$170,300 per year, plus a 10% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Develop customer-focused data models, datasets, reports, dashboards, and integrated analytics solutions.
• Prepare, transform, shape, and extract data using Python, SQL, R, and related tools.
• Design interactive dashboards and promote self-service analytics adoption across the business.
• Partner with data product owners, IT, and business stakeholders on data lake design, platform stability, performance, and upgrade roadmaps.
• Establish and monitor business intelligence, data governance, stewardship, data quality, and enterprise standards.
• Lead complex data products and projects, review and delegate work, mentor team members, and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data visualization, reporting, or data science.
• At least 5 years of experience with data acquisition and analytics tools, including Tableau Prep, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• At least 5 years of experience with visualization or analysis software such as Tableau, Excel, Cognos Analytics, or Power BI.
• At least 5 years of coding experience for data shaping and extraction, plus experience with relational databases.
• At least 2 years of experience leading analytics developers or projects.

Nice to have

• Experience in the utility industry.
• Experience with statistical modeling, data stewardship, and data governance.
