Lead Data Analyst (Product Analytics)

Location: Remote (United States)

Base compensation: $145,000–$175,000 per year, plus potential performance bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Define and own measurement for new product initiatives, including success metrics, instrumentation, adoption, engagement, and retention analysis.
• Identify, automate, scale, and improve recurring data processes.
• Analyze employee health, wellbeing, customer interests, user journeys, and product effectiveness.
• Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, customer success, and sales to provide actionable insights.
• Build analyses and narratives for customer QBRs and executive reviews.
• Mentor and coach analysts while raising the team’s technical standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a product or customer analyst, ideally in a fast-paced startup or health-tech environment.
• Customer-facing and stakeholder management experience, such as in consulting or a B2B SaaS business.
• Strong ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for nontechnical audiences.
• Significant hands-on experience with SQL; experience with SQL transformations using dbt is preferred.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis, including statistical work.
• Experience with modern data stack tools, including Databricks, dbt, and Looker.

Nice to have

• Experience building, maintaining, or using automated systems and processes for recurring data needs.
• Experience improving data governance and establishing scalable stakeholder processes.
