Order Management Associate Scientist (Biotechnology)

Location: Piscataway, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Understand customer requirements for protein projects and review order details.
• Place accurate internal GENE orders with the Molecular Biology team.
• Develop project plans aligned with production capacity, scope, and timelines.
• Track milestones and end-to-end project progress, providing status updates through email and meetings.
• Analyze unexpected technical issues, provide scientific interpretation, and coordinate resolution strategies.
• Collaborate with Production, Project Management, Quality Control, and other cross-functional teams to support delivery and workflow improvement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Biology or a related life science discipline.
• Background in the biological or biotechnology industry.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Strong technical competency and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of molecular biology and cell biology.
• Fluency in Chinese and English is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with recombinant protein or antibody expression and purification.
