Advanced Research Associate (Protein Purification)

Location: Onsite in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States; standard business hours with occasional extended hours.

Salary: $49,700.00–$81,650.00 per year.

What you will do

• Author, revise, and execute SOPs for manufacturing reagents and consumables.
• Run controlled experiments supporting new product development and perform equipment validation for GMP manufacturing processes.
• Record, analyze, and report manufacturing data in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
• Review in-process documentation, investigate non-conformances, troubleshoot issues, and resolve manufacturing process problems.
• Propose and implement process improvements while maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, train new employees, conduct workspace walkthroughs, and perform device calibrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, or a related master’s degree with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• GMP laboratory experience is required.
• Knowledge of GMP and Good Documentation Practices is required.
• Technical knowledge of fermentation, E. coli bioreactors, protein purification, TFF, chromatography, filtration, dialysis, and/or aseptic filling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to perform moderately complex data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, train others, and manage multiple priorities.
