Supervisor, Quality Control (Microbiology)

Location: Raheen, Limerick, Ireland; onsite

Salary: $54,200–$103,200 annually

What you will do

• Lead QC personnel, allocate workloads, and monitor team performance.
• Ensure laboratory activities comply with cGMP requirements, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Support investigations, troubleshooting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee SOPs, methods, protocols, reports, training records, and other laboratory documentation.
• Manage employee development through scheduling, performance reviews, coaching, and training compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and quality objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry.
• Previous supervisory or people leadership experience.
• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
