Service Shop Preventative Maintenance Technician (Bentonville, AR)

Location: Onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; 2nd shift

Hourly wage: $27.80–$31.30 per hour, with potential premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.

What you will do

• Perform basic to intermediate inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements on tractors, trailers, yard trucks, shop equipment, and service vehicles.
• Create and process work orders, assess repair and replacement needs, identify parts, and select appropriate maintenance solutions.
• Repair and replace brake system components, wheel seals, and tractor-trailer tires in accordance with company and Department of Transportation requirements.
• Receive fuel deliveries, monitor drops for safety compliance, check tank levels, and manage fuel additives.
• Collect, prepare, and ship fuel samples for analysis while completing required paperwork, logs, and computer-based records.
• Communicate maintenance information with customers, suppliers, associates, managers, and other business partners.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued driver's license required.
• Brake inspection qualification under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulation 396.25 required.
• Vehicle inspection qualification under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulation 396.19 required.
• Ability to follow maintenance procedures, safety standards, company policies, and DOT requirements.
• Ability to complete written and computer-based work orders, records, logs, and other documentation.

• Microsoft Office experience.
• ASE Certification.
