Field Service Technician- Walmart Shippensburg PA

Location: Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, United States; full-time onsite field service at a Walmart customer site

Pay rate: $24.50–$28.50 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain and service fuel cells at the customer site.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, evaluations, preventative maintenance, retrofits, and software and hardware upgrades.
• Provide on-call and emergency customer support as required.
• Troubleshoot and maintain hydrogen storage, 480VAC, flammability, cryogenic liquid, high-pressure gas, and fueling systems as needed.
• Order tools, equipment, and parts while maintaining inventory and service documentation.
• Communicate with customer personnel, hydrogen suppliers, and regional service representatives about system performance and maintenance issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience; formal training may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly without assistance and work safely at customer sites.
• General mechanical aptitude, computer skills, strong communication, problem-solving, time-management, and independent-working skills.
• Provide a standard personal set of tools; specialized fuel cell tools are provided by hirify.global.
