What you will do

• Supervise station employees and coordinate the operation and maintenance of station facilities and equipment.
• Manage construction activities and internal labor resources for transmission and distribution station capital projects.
• Direct field activities to maintain compliance with NERC Reliability Standards.
• Coordinate maintenance and construction schedules for transformers, breakers, and other station equipment within budget and on time.
• Lead outage response efforts to return facilities to service and allocate crew personnel and equipment efficiently.
• Coordinate station work with plants, distribution, operations, customers, and other affected departments and parties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited institution and at least 8 years of transmission field services, construction management, or engineering experience; or an associate degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance technology and 12 years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma and 15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing an O&M budget of $2.5–$5 million or a construction budget and an organization of 40–70 employees.
• Interpersonal, technical, organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
• Flexibility, customer focus, communication, creativity, initiative, planning, and teamwork.
• Physical demand level: sedentary work.
