Substation Engineering Manager

Location: United States locations in Providence, Rhode Island; Rocky Hill, Connecticut; Boston, Massachusetts; Portland, Maine; and Bedford, New Hampshire

Salary: $104,472–$149,245 in Portland, $115,469–$164,955 in Providence, $120,967–$172,810 in Rocky Hill, and $131,964–$188,520 in Boston.

What you will do

• Support operations of a substation engineering production section, including staff development, profitability, morale, and quality control.
• Assist with project production and project management responsibilities.
• Coordinate technical services and collaboration with other sections, National Directors, and marketing staff.
• Contribute to marketing planning, proposals, interviews, and client-facing activities.
• Plan, organize, monitor, and evaluate work through proactive project management systems.
• Select, train, develop, and manage technical personnel while implementing company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of professional experience.
• Professional registration, license, or certification may be required based on the role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments with strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Preference is given to local candidates.
