What you will do

• Anchor Good Day Dakota weekday morning newscasts with energy and authority.
• Conduct live in-studio and field interviews with newsmakers and community guests.
• Research, report, write, voice, shoot, and edit factual daily news stories for broadcast, streaming, web, and social platforms.
• Arrange interviews, pitch relevant local stories, and provide content for streaming shows.
• Handle occasional live shots and ensure all content meets editorial integrity and production quality standards.
• Review and correct copy for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, style, and formatting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to ad lib when required.
• Experience in news anchoring and reporting, with a superior on-air presence.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, manage multiple tasks, and work early mornings or any shift as news demands.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and lighting conditions, perform repetitive movements, and lift and operate equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
