Senior Video Editor (Social & Digital Content)

Location: Secaucus, United States; in-office position. The role may require work during days, nights, weekends, and holidays according to the hirify.global calendar.

What you will do

• Edit social-first short-form, vertical, and real-time video with strong storytelling, pacing, music, and sound design.
• Produce real-time game and event coverage for nightly, weekly, and major social and digital programming.
• Finish and composite hirify.global programming using professional non-linear editing systems.
• Collaborate with producers, creators, publishers, designers, editors, platform owners, and league stakeholders.
• Advise on the visual identity of programs, recurring content franchises, and special projects.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior editorial staff while maintaining workflows, quality-control procedures, and delivery standards.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience editing social-first short-form content for sports, media, production, or entertainment organizations.
• Advanced proficiency with professional non-linear editing systems, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong skills in compositing, audio mixing, color correction, media management, quality control, and final delivery.
• Experience creating vertical content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, Stories, Snapchat, and emerging platforms.
• Experience creating basketball or sports-related content, with strong knowledge of hirify.global players, teams, statistics, rules, terminology, standings, and league history.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, communicate effectively, interpret feedback, and work a flexible hirify.global-calendar schedule.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Film, Television, Media Production, or a related field.
