What you will do

• Develop and decompose user, system, and subsystem requirements for vehicle controls and integrated systems.
• Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform system trades and analysis, and define system interfaces.
• Draft, review, release, and maintain requirements specifications, traceability, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate requirements, design, verification, and validation activities across engineering disciplines and project teams.
• Support system engineering reviews, including SRR, PDR, CDR, and FRR, as well as testing and production implementation.
• Manage project priorities, schedules, changes, budgets, consensus building, and progress communication to senior management.

Requirements

• Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field plus internship experience or at least six months of related work experience.
• Ability to analyze technical procedures, government regulations, scientific information, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to communicate requirements and solutions with internal, external, and customer/user stakeholders.
• Understanding of product development, life cycle management, reliability, design for manufacturing, and failure mode analysis.
• Regular attendance and availability for routine shift hours are required; infrequent overtime, weekend work, or shift rotation may occur.

Nice to have

• Degree in systems engineering, automotive engineering, software engineering, or a comparable discipline.
• Experience with MagicDraw, Jama Connect, DOORS, CodeBeamer, or similar requirements-management tools.
• Experience with processes and procedures used by large OEMs.
