What you will do

• Design, redesign, and develop mechanical components for new and existing heavy-duty vehicles.
• Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and modeling to optimize system performance.
• Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, bills of material, technical proposals, reports, and presentations.
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, reliability, and compliance with engineering and drawing standards.
• Analyze and resolve engineering and production-support issues in collaboration with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Support senior engineers on projects of limited complexity and communicate technical status effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, plus internship experience or at least six months of related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems.
• Experience with a high-level CAD system.
• Ability to interpret technical procedures, safety rules, engineering standards, and regulations.
• Ability to work routine shifts with occasional overtime, weekend work, or shift rotation.
