Salary: $131,629.35–$202,506.69 per year

What you will do

• Oversee pharmacy operations, dispensing, inventory, purchasing, billing, and drug control procedures.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, drug management programs, and process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct pharmacoeconomic research and statistical analysis of cancer therapies and treatment regimens.
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, operating reports, regulatory documentation, and administrative statistics.
• Manage, train, and evaluate registered pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, admixture technicians, and other pharmacy staff.
• Advise physicians and clinical staff on pharmacy-related issues, disease management, medication regulations, quality assurance, and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• At least five years of experience as a registered pharmacist, including two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Five years of pharmacy experience with IV skills.
• Prior pharmacy management experience.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the state of practice.
• Ability to work onsite with regular patient contact and potential exposure to toxic substances, medicinal preparations, and chemotherapeutic agents.
