Entry Level Chemical Regulatory Analyst (Chemical Compliance): Reviewing chemical products and raw materials to maintain regulatory compliance across multiple regions with an accent on supplier data, product-level assessments, and chemical substance registration requirements. Focus on completing data gaps, handling large volumes of compliance information, and supporting regulatory reporting and customer inquiries.

Location: Minneapolis, MN, United States; Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; onsite, non-laboratory position.

Compensation: $21.00–$23.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Review regulatory requirements for raw materials and finished goods across business divisions.
  • Gather and assess chemical compliance information from suppliers.
  • Support product-level compliance reviews and regulatory data-gap completion.
  • Respond to routine inquiries from internal customers and external suppliers.
  • Assist with regulatory reports, certification statements, and complex customer inquiries.
  • Support multiple regulatory areas, regions, divisions, and stakeholder projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • 1–2 years of regulatory or compliance experience in the chemical industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and handle repetitive tasks involving large amounts of data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Comfort learning new and varied computer systems.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of chemical regulations, environmental impacts, and associated hazards in the coatings industry.
  • Familiarity with Chemical Inventory Control laws, REACH, and GHS.
  • Laboratory or formulation experience.
  • Experience with Sherwin Williams compliance software such as RMDM, WERCS, or HEARS.
