PLS Associate Scientist I - Entry Level (CCIT)

Location: Onsite in Lebanon, New Jersey, United States; Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $23.00–$26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform standard Container Closure Integrity Testing using established instrumentation, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Review, analyze, interpret, and document testing results and related CCIT information.
• Complete and process CCIT forms, documents, databases, reports, and other testing records.
• Analyze trends, identify discrepancies, draw conclusions, and present recommendations to management.
• Audit testing activities, equipment, procedures, databases, and reports to support accuracy and quality assurance.
• Clean, maintain, prepare, and calibrate laboratory equipment and samples while collaborating with work teams.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required; a bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a closely related field is acceptable, as is an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Understanding of standard testing tools, instruments, and calibration.
• Ability to perform fundamental CCIT duties, administer standard CCIT functions, and prepare technical reports and written materials.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a project team, using initiative and judgment within established guidelines.
• Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Ability to work in a laboratory and office environment, handle standard lab equipment, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
