What you will do

  • Oversee clinical operations and nursing support activities for the oncology clinic.
  • Supervise nursing staff and coordinate staffing coverage, schedules, vacations, sick leave, and overtime.
  • Maintain nursing personnel files and ensure licensing and certification requirements are met.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction, quality assurance measures, charge-code use, and reimbursement procedures.
  • Participate in recruiting, policy updates, service development, and day-to-day nursing operations.
  • Lead staff training, in-services, retention initiatives, mentoring, and performance evaluation support.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • At least five years of active registered nursing experience, including at least three years in oncology.
  • Experience with nursing leadership is preferred.
  • Oncology certification and a chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card are preferred.
