Security Administrator - Security Operations (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Monitor, analyze, and report on corporate security systems and applications.
• Review infrastructure designs, router and firewall access control lists, enterprise software code, and security policies for vulnerabilities and best-practice compliance.
• Investigate and resolve security breaches and vulnerability issues, including internal network scans and external penetration testing.
• Support digital forensics, evidence collection, user activity audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage physical security systems, including security cameras and access control systems.
• Serve as an escalation point for Service Desk incidents and contribute to security standards and incident-response policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, with 5–8 years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years in information security, or an equivalent combination.
• Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification.
• Competence with networking, hardware, software, server technologies, security and server log analysis, and IT security best practices.
• Experience with router and firewall ACLs, VPNs, and complex routing scenarios.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and the two latest versions of Microsoft Windows.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• CISSP or CSSLP certification.
• Knowledge of SaaS security concepts and application development best practices.
• Experience with Linux, Check Point firewalls, and scripting languages.
