Security Engineer (OAMD)

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States; hybrid schedule with onsite presence required three days per week

What you will do

• Provide technical security expertise across enterprise computing, cloud, and data platforms.
• Support certification and accreditation activities, including SSPs, SOPs, POA&Ms, and continuous monitoring documentation.
• Coordinate with ISSOs, cybersecurity offices, system owners, and other stakeholders on federal security compliance.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, security assessments, software security reviews, and remediation tracking.
• Support secure architecture, access controls, authentication, data protection, and HSPD-12/PIV solutions.
• Contribute to incident response, risk mitigation, cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and application deployments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience supporting security for federal IT systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA three days per week.
• Experience with ATO processes and the NIST Risk Management Framework.
• Experience securing Linux, virtualized, HPC, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP-authorized cloud services and strong documentation and stakeholder coordination skills.
