What you will do
- Design, configure, and optimize enterprise firewall and network security solutions across customer environments.
- Manage Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Palo Alto Networks, PAN-OS, Panorama, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Firepower technologies.
- Create and optimize firewall policies, security rules, access-control lists, and hardened security configurations.
- Configure and troubleshoot NAT, IPsec, SSL, remote-access, and site-to-site VPNs, as well as network segmentation.
- Analyze traffic, logs, and network behavior while resolving complex connectivity and firewall issues.
- Support firewall migrations, upgrades, replacements, technology refreshes, high-availability environments, and security investigations with SOC, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise firewall and network security technologies.
- Hands-on experience as a Firewall Engineer, Network Security Engineer, or Security Engineer.
- Advanced experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and Cisco security technologies.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, DNS, subnetting, and network segmentation.
- Experience with IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, remote access, and site-to-site connectivity.
- Experience troubleshooting network traffic, connectivity issues, firewall policies, and security rules.
