Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Onsite in Spokane Valley, Washington, United States; day shift, 6:30am–3:00pm.

Salary: Up to $27 per hour depending on experience, plus a discretionary bonus and stock options.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical components, including pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, presses, kilns, automated systems, mobile equipment, and other manufacturing machinery.
• Read blueprints, electrical schematics, manufacturer manuals, and standard operating procedures; calibrate machines for optimal performance.
• Document maintenance work, communicate with equipment operators, and systematically identify operational issues.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and cranes while following quality and safety requirements.
• Use PPE and Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures while complying with OSHA safety regulations and building code standards.

Requirements

• Entry-level experience and basic knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment maintenance, repair, machinery, tools, and mechanical drive systems.
• Basic experience with industrial equipment, automated assembly operations, and CMMS software.
• High school diploma or GED with technical training, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, interpret SOPs, communicate effectively, collaborate, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work involving walking, standing, bending, lifting, climbing, varying temperatures, dust, and chemicals.
• Valid driver's license, ability to safely operate a forklift, willingness to wear PPE, and willingness to provide basic personal tools.

Nice to have

• Fabrication and basic plumbing experience.
