Location: Centennial, Colorado, with required relocation to a nearby hirify.global facility such as Denver, Reno, Shalimar, Bragg, or Herndon. International travel, overseas deployment, and an approximate 60/60 OCONUS rotation are required.

Estimated starting salary: $124,771.42–$171,560.71 per year, plus annual performance-based incentive pay.

What you will do

  • Lead the aircraft maintenance division and align maintenance strategy with organizational and program objectives.
  • Oversee maintenance planning, airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance, aircraft availability, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage personnel, budgets, equipment, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead maintenance managers and personnel while developing training and professional development programs.
  • Coordinate with engineering, mission systems, operations, logistics, customers, external stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Support aircraft operations in overseas locations and deploy downrange for up to seven days or on an approximate 60/60 OCONUS rotation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or qualifying experience in lieu of education; 15 years of related experience is required without a degree.
  • At least 11 years of aviation experience, including 4 or more years in a leadership role.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance and inspection procedures, FAA and EASA requirements, and FAA regulations.
  • Experience with Part 145 repair station leadership, CFR Title 14 Parts 91 and 23/25, DCMA 8210.1C/1D, commercial derivative military aircraft, MEL/CDL/NEF development, and aircraft return-to-service processes.
  • Must hold a valid passport, be able to obtain an international travel visa, meet DoD and Combatant Command deployment requirements, pass a pre-deployment medical assessment, and be eligible under U.S. international trade regulations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with highly modified aircraft, STC development and sustainment, FAA and military certification, engineering change management, and mission systems integration.
  • Familiarity with structural and electrical modifications, avionics-to-mission-systems integration, ODAs, secure communications and networking, systems engineering, and OEM data license agreements.
