Focus on diagnosing complex system malfunctions, repairing structural and integrated aircraft components, and coordinating cross-trade maintenance in a high-tempo operational or depot environment.

What you will do
- Perform advanced inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications across aircraft airframe, powerplant, and integrated systems.
- Inspect and test hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, electrical, avionics, and environmental systems for faults, leaks, blockages, and malfunctions.
- Complete preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, disassembly, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment in accordance with technical specifications and engineering instructions.
- Perform detailed depot-level maintenance and structural component repairs, including metal, tubing, cable, plastic, fiberglass, bonded honeycomb, and composite components.
- Coordinate complex repairs with avionics, structural, and other maintenance trades.
- Record maintenance data accurately and prepare routine reports and correspondence.
Requirements
- 10 years of relevant aircraft structural maintenance experience on fixed- or rotary-wing commercial, government, or Department of Defense aircraft.
- 5+ years of depot-level maintenance experience with the relevant aircraft system.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience supporting DoD contracts and strong knowledge of depot-level maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to use respirators, forced-air equipment, or other breathing equipment and safely handle aerospace materials and hazardous waste.
Nice to have
- Previous Air Force Specialty Code 2A773 experience.
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification.
- Advanced software application experience.
