Maintenance Controller

Location: Cottonwood Heights, Utah, United States

Starting pay: $100,000 annually. Additional $15,000 cash bonus and up to $2,500 relocation assistance may be available.

What you will do

• Coordinate with Flight Operations, Maintenance, stations, and other departments to support the flight schedule.
• Arrange emergency maintenance and timely repairs for unforeseen aircraft issues at down-line and out-stations.
• Monitor aircraft maintenance operations and provide technical assistance to ensure repairs comply with company requirements and applicable CFRs.
• Track fleet mechanical status, coordinate maintenance during irregular operations, and minimize disruptions and unnecessary costs.
• Manage MEL, CDL, and other approved deferrals, including repetitive defects and corrective actions.
• Coordinate parts, technical expertise, ferry flights, functional check flights, and incident or accident notifications.

Requirements

• Current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions is required.
• Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft and the ability to interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications.
• Authorization to work in the United States under the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 is required.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and TSA fingerprint-based criminal history check.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, multitasking, and high-stress response skills; fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Four-year degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or Business.
• Two or more years of Maintenance Planning or Maintenance Control experience.
• Factory or equivalent training on the Embraer 190.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills.
