Maintenance Operations Manager (MRO)

Salary: $108,900–$145,200 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate onsite and offsite maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations for production, test, facility, and support equipment.
• Manage maintenance personnel, staffing, training, workforce development, equipment, and other resources supporting projects and orders.
• Support mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, equipment testing, technical documentation, and project deliverables.
• Establish and improve preventive maintenance programs, procedures, schedules, and performance measures.
• Oversee spare-parts inventory, maintenance documentation, resource planning, and compliance with technical and industry standards.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Safety teams to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support manufacturing objectives.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a security clearance.
• 8–12 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, common tools, inspection and alignment practices, and diagnosis of corrective actions.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, access confined areas, climb ladders, travel, and work overtime.

Nice to have

• Experience in ship repair or the technical service industry.
• Experience using Oracle ERP.
