IT Manager (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage daily IT operations, technology implementations, end-user support, and cybersecurity compliance activities.
• Develop and execute the IT strategy, technology roadmap, policies, procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Evaluate and implement technology solutions that improve security, scalability, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Manage third-party IT service providers, consultants, vendors, service delivery, escalations, and contract performance.
• Lead cybersecurity and information assurance activities, including vulnerability management, incident response readiness, system hardening, access control governance, and compliance.
• Set departmental priorities, allocate resources, and lead, mentor, and develop IT personnel.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of progressive experience in IT administration, infrastructure management, cybersecurity operations, or related functions, including leadership of projects, initiatives, or personnel.
• An equivalent combination of education and 6+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience managing technology initiatives, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and driving projects from planning through implementation.
• Familiarity with Python and PowerShell for system administration automation, plus experience with Windows, Office 365, DNS, Exchange Online, Active Directory, Group Policy, MDM, and SaaS provisioning.
• Experience with third-party service providers and government cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, or DFARS 252.204-7012.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, with experience supporting secure networks and DoD-compliant environments.

Nice to have

• Active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications.
• Microsoft Intune administration experience, government contracting experience, and familiarity with eDiscovery processes and tooling.
