Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) Administrator (Intermediate-Level)

What you will do

• Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize MECM/SCCM infrastructure and endpoint management services.
• Manage software deployment, application packaging, distribution points, collections, task sequences, compliance baselines, and software update groups.
• Support Windows operating system deployment, imaging, driver management, lifecycle management, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor site health, client health, content distribution, compliance, inventory, asset management, and platform performance.
• Develop PowerShell automation and SQL-based reports for endpoint management, compliance, patching, and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, and server teams; provide Tier III support and contribute to modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance are required.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher is required, such as Security+, CySA+, or an equivalent certification.
• At least four years of experience administering MECM/SCCM in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 endpoints, OSD, software packaging, application deployment, patch management, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience creating and maintaining PowerShell automation scripts, plus knowledge of DISA STIG and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience with ACAS, Nessus, or comparable vulnerability management tools; baseline certification must be obtained within six months if not already held.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, IT service management, or a related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, enterprise application support, backup and disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
