IT Network Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: East Farmingdale, New York, United States; onsite at the Farmingdale location

Salary: $95,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft-based network infrastructure, including Windows Server, Office, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Install, configure, patch, and monitor Windows servers, including performance, resource utilization, authentication, and system logs.
• Design and implement secure network architectures, cybersecurity controls, and security accreditation plans for Department of Defense programs.
• Analyze endpoint security, vulnerability, and compliance-tool outputs, and collaborate with IT and security teams on vulnerability remediation and incident response.
• Prepare audit and regulatory documentation while ensuring hardware, software, firmware, and systems comply with applicable standards.
• Support Engineering department technology upgrades, digital transformation initiatives, recurring budgets, and Oracle Java process-improvement projects.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System Security, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant network-management experience focused on Microsoft technologies.
• Proven experience as a Windows Systems Engineer with Active Directory administration expertise.
• Proven ISSO experience in enterprise environments and strong knowledge of network security, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53, NISPOM, AFI 17-203, and DAAPM, along with strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
