Senior Manager, KOL & External Engagement Platforms Global Capability Owner

Location: Remote/Home-Based; London, UK or Philadelphia, PA. The role requires 20–30% travel. The stated salary range applies to US-based candidates only.

Salary: $140,800–$211,200 gross annual base pay for US-based candidates, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define the product vision, outcomes, roadmap, governance, and prioritization for KOL and external engagement platforms.
• Deliver scalable capabilities for planning, executing, and measuring speaker programs, congresses, events, and engagements with KOLs, HCPs, patients, healthcare organizations, and caregivers.
• Translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Tech Leads, development teams, Activation, Product teams, and vendors to align priorities and delivery sequencing.
• Use user insights, engagement data, adoption metrics, KPIs, and experimentation to optimize platform capabilities and demonstrate business value.
• Design scalable approaches to KOL identification, end-to-end co-creation workflows, and annual planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, marketing, science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience in digital product management, product ownership, or managing product roadmap creation and delivery in a cross-functional team.
• Experience with event and engagement management platforms, KOL engagement tools, and vendor-supported solutions such as SpotMe and VDE.
• Knowledge of KOL engagement strategy, event workflows, HCP compliance, performance tracking, Agile product development, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, manage competing priorities, make data-informed decisions, and partner directly with end users.

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or relevant graduate degree.
• Experience working in a product operating model and partnering with Product teams.
• Experience with rare disease or specialty brands and their stakeholder dynamics.
• Experience using AI, automation, or agentic workflows to improve learning design, delivery, or operations.
