What you will do
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria for SSRN features and ensure requirements are sprint-ready.
- Gather, clarify, and document requirements with engineering, operations, content, analytics, and data science stakeholders.
- Produce analytics reports and interpret data, including insights from AI-supported tools.
- Maintain backlog hygiene through grooming, sequencing, labelling, and prioritisation.
- Run or support agile sprint ceremonies and track sprint and release progress in JIRA and Aha.
- Prioritise production issues and defects while supporting discovery, launch readiness, and stakeholder communications.
Requirements
- Strong product thinking and an understanding of technology platforms and data architecture.
- Experience documenting clear requirements and user stories for complex features or products in an agile sprint environment.
- Experience using an analytical, data-driven approach to identify areas for improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with AI tools and services and their application to process improvement and product delivery.
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from the London office and home.
Nice to have
- Hands-on UX and design experience, such as creating wireframe prototypes in Figma.
- Experience or willingness to learn tools such as Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, and Pendo.
- Familiarity with scholarly communications and preprint culture.
