Salary: $178,400 - $267,600

What you will do

• Own and prioritize the development backlog for a shared web application platform supporting multiple operating units.
• Balance investments across shared platform capabilities, technical improvements, maintenance, and business-specific features.
• Partner with Systems Engineering, Human Factors, Product Management, and Regulatory teams to translate needs into executable software plans.
• Lead backlog refinement, release planning, and roadmap planning with engineering leadership.
• Coordinate work across approximately 20 internal and outsourced software developers.
• Ensure software delivery adheres to quality and regulatory practices within an Agile framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required (sponsorship is only offered for Principal-level roles and above).
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Technical aptitude to understand software architecture, technical tradeoffs, and development processes.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a software engineer, systems engineer, software architect, or technical lead.
• Experience in medical device, healthcare, or other FDA-regulated industries.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile planning tools.
