Manager, Product Management

Location: United States (Remote); occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or business needs, up to 10%.

Salary: $128,600–$144,700 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and support three Product Owners and one Production Support Analyst.
• Own the backlog and roadmap for an assigned product area across the GovDeals and AllSurplus technology stack.
• Oversee multiple product backlogs, priorities, dependencies, release plans, defects, and delivery risks.
• Translate business objectives, technical workflows, integrations, APIs, and operational needs into product direction, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with product, engineering, QA, UX/UI, architecture, operations, sales, customer support, and legal/compliance stakeholders.
• Support Agile ceremonies, release preparation, production issue triage, documentation, training materials, and continuous improvement of delivery practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, technology delivery, or related work supporting web-based or enterprise software products.
• Experience supporting complex technology platforms, operational workflows, integrations, and cross-functional business processes.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery teams, distributed or offshore development teams, and production support processes.
• Strong understanding of web-based software development, system integrations, APIs, data flows, and technical dependencies.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps/Visual Studio Online, or related work management and defect tracking tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; at least 2 years of people leadership, team lead, mentoring, or supervisory experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• CSPO, A-CSPO, CSP-PO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, PMI-ACP, PMP, or a related Agile/product management certification.
