Manager, Digital Transformation (MedTech Surgery R&D)

Location: Any hirify.global site listed for the role, including Cincinnati, Ohio; Raritan, New Jersey; West Chester, Pennsylvania; and Zuchwil, Switzerland. Flex/Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week onsite. Up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required.

Base pay: $117,000–$201,250 per year.

What you will do

• Own the lifecycle of sector R&D digital platforms, including deployments, operations, adoption, and value realization.
• Develop platform and capability roadmaps, strategic plans, governance models, and priorities.
• Align stakeholders across R&D, business, technology, and partner ecosystems.
• Enable automation and adaptive, data-driven digital capabilities.
• Evaluate and sponsor emerging technologies for MedTech R&D.
• Lead people or operate as a senior individual contributor with accountability for defined platforms or capability areas.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of applied experience, or equivalent certifications and demonstrated expertise.
• Experience in digital transformation, sector platforms, or product ownership.
• Strong understanding of R&D processes and regulated environments.
• Ability to define vision, roadmaps, priorities, and governance models.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, execution, and delivery accountability.
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically in the US and internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience leading global digital platforms or portfolios.
• Experience with PLM, Risk & Requirements, or digital thread enablement.
• Exposure to automation, AI, or emerging digital technologies.
• Experience with SAP Product Lifecycle Management.
