Strategic Sourcing Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Houston, TX (TAS-Cullen HQ); full-time onsite position

What you will do

• Develop and implement sourcing and category management strategies.
• Analyze procurement costs, identify savings opportunities, and optimize expenditure.
• Negotiate, review, and manage supplier contracts for favorable terms, feasibility, and compliance.
• Build long-term supplier relationships and monitor supplier quality and delivery performance.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, cost and scenario analysis, and risk assessments.
• Lead and develop the procurement team while collaborating with internal stakeholders to align sourcing with business needs.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Familiarity with sourcing software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, financial, project management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to interpret market trends and make data-driven decisions.

Nice to have

• CPSM, CSCP, or CPM certification.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing strategic initiatives.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
